CEO: Donald C. Jones


Donald C. Jones received his Juris Doctorate from University of Florida and has practiced law before entering the field of education. Mr. Jones has been the CEO of Compass Rose Foundation since 1976 and has founded or governed numerous postsecondary programs ranging from vocational/career training institutes to academic degree granting institutions. He founded Hodges University (formerly International College) and is Chairman Emeritus of the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges & Universities, former Chair and member of the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges & Schools, and past president of the Florida Association of Private Schools & Colleges. He has served on a myriad of education committees, is committed to providing employment opportunities relevant to industry trends, and has a long history of service in the field of higher education. Mr. Jones is the former Board Secretary of Hodges University and is currently a trustee for Compass Rose Foundation and Coleman University in San Diego, CA.

The Compass Rose Foundation Board is committed to ensuring the ongoing quality of the Foundation’s educational initiatives and relevancy of program design with workforce trends. The Board also encourages research of the most contemporary instructional techniques that improve student learning outcomes and employment opportunities for graduates of its’ integrated educational system.
