Community Partnerships

Compass Rose Foundation (CRF) is committed to developing partnerships in the community and encourages its educational entities to partner with other non-profits and industry leaders in providing for a better community and meeting the needs of local businesses. Some of the most recent initiatives supporting community partnerships are:

  • Providing access to the Jones Technical Institute’s Annie B. Harper Community Room and/or classrooms for local industry leaders to conduct workshops and/or training sessions for professional development of their employees.
  • Partnering with the Transportation Club of Jacksonville in preparing and serving dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Jacksonville.
  • Providing access to the grounds and facilities for annual trade shows in the automotive industry (e.g., Transportation Club of Jacksonville Annual Trade Show)
  • Since 2006, the Compass Rose Foundation has made an annual donation to the Foundation for Lee County Schools by holding a back-to-school hair promotion for children called “Kuts 4 Kids”. (Sunstate Academy, Fort Myers Campus)
  • Annual donation to the Pinellas Education Foundation from the “Kuts 4 Kids” event. (Sunstate Academy, Clearwater Campus)
  • Participation in the Relay for Life – American Cancer Association (Sunstate Academy, Fort Myers & Clearwater campuses)
  • Participation in St. Baldrick’s annual festival that raises money for children with cancer (Sunstate Academy, Clearwater Campus)
